What do I have to say about MEdge? Well, I am far away from being good with technology, but this browser definitely does not match even my standards. Everyone who has it - just delete and do not bother. If a browser can not even emergency-save the tabs and docs after shutting down? Excuse me. How much MORE useless this thing can be? For the developers - I am just sorry for you, also tell us: how does it feels -to be absolutely unsuccessful in what you are doing? Cause that is exactly what you: you have failed developing this.

I have an MIS degree. Edge is the absolute worse POS software/browser on the market. I "force delete" it every time I get a new computer. What it lacks is user definable parameters. It is clumsy to use and just doesn't stack to some even as low end as Firefox. Microsoft is just not in the browser and should stay out of it. Just concentrate on what you do best. My rating is one star.

From the comments I read here, it appears that most of the "Edge" users are illiterate. :) Perhaps that's a good reason for sticking with Chrome.

I don't use Edge but the office manager of the company I work for does. I am a web application developer and am facing some serious issue with Edge. The biggest one is web page cache management. Edge won't reload the page no matter what the end user does. Now I'm stuck getting creative just to b get a dynamic page to load the newest version every time. Seems Edge is ignoring meta tag directive to reload the page not cache it.

Pure and utter cludge. I'm using another work station now because the one with Microsoft Edge constantly is overwriting my Google chrome. I will uninstall it as soon as I figure out how. Garbage mixed with Microsoft's we know whats good for you attitude. Is there a rating lower than zero because that's what it deserves.

I used to really like this horrible application for one thing and that was its epub reader. It caused problems with my sound on my lap top so would often have to close it down to get sound again. And of course anything that needed sound in edge did not work. Imagine that Microsoft has a product that works so badly with the OS. Now they even got rid of the epub reader which I really liked. Could double click epub and would open and really liked the navigation and the search features. Too bad. With issues with IE and many web sits now moving to Chrome.

it sucks, slower than chrome, takes too much time to load a website, takes too much time to even load, chrome is faster..... why Microsoft forces us to use their useless stuff, when chrome is there...
then you recommend Bing which has almost 50% less data and intelligence and speed compared to google

Mouse scroll down is interpreted as back button, as soon as you land on a page you want to scroll down on - you end up right where you started! Super annoying so no thanks...

I cannot save my wibdow size and location in Microsoft edge. It opens full screen then minimizes to a window that is too small and across the screen. Who in the world designed this? I'll stick with chrome, which easily remembers my settings

Cluttered, uses bing (which is terrible) slows my start up, has a mind of its own, settings change even though I don't want it to open at start up... is all pervasive and nosy... literally cannot stand this app.

I use chrome and the only why I use Microsoft Edge is because chrome cannot play youtube videos without mid stopping for no reason. Microsoft Edge plays youtube videos smoothly but is literally so slow on response time. When I press pause on M.E. it takes literally 3-5s before my video pauses and is the same when trying to play the video again. This is the same for loading pages or navigating around youtube. It is noticably slower than chrome. But at least it works and isn't as bad as I.E.
